Thousands of teachers in Mexico are striking against sweeping educational reforms since Monday.They have already convinced members of the lower house to leave out the most controversial measure of an education reform package - teacher evaluations.President Enrique Pena Nieto says he wants to improve Mexico's poorly performing schools.But teachers insist they are being used as scapegoats for the real problem, inadequate budgets and endemic corruption.Al Jazeera' s Adam Raney reports from Mexico city.
