Turkey: Clashes break out at rally for murdered journalist
Thousands marched in a commemorative demonstration for murdered Turkish-Armenian journalist Hrant Dink in Istanbul on Sunday. Protesters held up signs saying "For Hrant, for justice" and "We are all Armenians". Police clashed with protesters near Taksim Square.Dink was murdered in front of his newspaper's building on January 19, 2007 by a young Turkish man named Og?n Samast. Samast was later convicted of premeditated murder and sentenced to 22 years and 10 months in prison after a two-year trial.
